The mountains surrounding me are beautiful and full of desert life....so inspiring.

Since I returned from Chicago, I've been going non-stop....always something to be done...especially when I've been gone for some days. It has been catch-up time. An order for a silver "HealingHorse" bolo and a silver "HealingHorse" pendant needed to be created and shipped. A small stone sculpture of a sitting bear with a bird in his hand, I also created and sold. I'm now in the process of creating a stone sculpture of a running horse and a woman running along the side of it, holding a rawhide rope, attached to the horse's mouth. I will post the photos, as soon as they are completed. I'm excited!! It feels good to create and be in the "zone", in the world that is unseen, but felt. The world that has many teachings and blessings.

Good blessings to you!!

Much love!!

Elk Woman

Thoughts for the world

There is an imbalance in the masculine and feminine energy in the world. This imbalance has spawned greed and domination. This affects every living organism. The mother earth is in turmoil. Compassion and love for ourselves, the mother earth and all the inhabitants is crucial. With this, we will be more thoughtful as to how we walk in our daily life. How we make a better life for all the world, so that there will always be clean water to drink, fresh air to breath, nutritious food to eat and non polluting ways to create energy. These things are all available to us, and they won't make anyone rich with money, but rich with beautiful resources by saving the planet. Our resources are our families, our land, our animals, our plant life and our water beings. Let us remember the meaning of life and why we're here. Be thankful for the mother earth providing for us and giving us life. It's good to focus on the healing and the balance to be restored to this sacred mother earth, and to ourselves. We are here in this life only for a moment. Make it count.
