Artist-in-Residency at Yoche DeHe School in California with the Wintun Tribe at Rumsey Rancheria, in February 2012. The students and I created a life-size Eco-Conscious Horse. The students chose the project. It was a fantastic whirlwind endeavor. We accomplished it in a week! They are great students and people. Their Tribe has constructed new buildings that are self sustaining and off the grid....INSPIRING!!
BMAC, Buyers Market of American Craft, February 2012, in Philadelphia, was an exciting new adventure for my daughter, Shannon and myself. She is my business manager and has done shows with me most of her life. We've experienced many different shows, people and places. This show opened up new doors for my Eco-Conscious jewelry and art, which I showcased there,...a good way to start the new year.
